I am an outdoors person who has always worked outside in one capacity or another. I enjoy hunting, fishing, camping and anything else that gets me up in the mountains.
I enjoy working at Wasatch Shadows Nursery for many reasons, some of them are; I get to work outside, I get to work with co-workers and customers who have the some interests in gardening that I do. And there is always something new to learn; (eg. A new plant, better ways to do things, find answers to questions you’ve never heard before etc. etc. etc.) Another reason that I like it here is that it has helped me to create a yard at my home that when I can’t get up in the mountains, I can walk out my back door and enjoy running water from my pond, sit on my patio and listen to the birds, yes and even build a fire and roast hotdogs if I want.
Customers have different views of what they want their yards to be to them. Helping them create the yard of their dreams is our job and we LOVE the challenge!
